Default Polished or Chrome Calipers

ok, ive been looking around and used the search tool a few times but came up empty. Ive seen this like once or twice, but never on a lex. I was looking to see if anyone has chromed or polished their brake calipers. My title for my car is "midnight" and im doing the whole black out everything. the wheels are going to have a black face and i was thinking maybe black calipers as well. depending on how they look (if anyone has pictures that would help tremendously), i might go with a black faced wheel with the polished or chromed caliper.

i think polish is an option but i would never chrome my calipers. it makes the thing weaker, nono on my brakes

see you learn something new every day. I never would have guess that chroming makes things weaker. hmm... thats something to consider for lots of things.

another reason i would never own chrome rims. first of all i don't really like too shiny, and most of all the strength too. if anything, i would get high polish instead

Another option would be to powdercoat the calipers with an "almost" chrome color. It is pretty shiny, but "duller" than chrome....and since its powdercoat, very chemical and scratch resistant...

Here's an example of "almost" chrome powdercoat on intercooler pipes...
