Default Supra TT Calipers = TRD/Rod Millen Calipers???

I was wondering if anyone else noticed this... the Toyota Supra TT calipers, TRD and Rod Millen Calipers all look the same. they all have the same lay out to them. the brembo calipers, on the other hand, look completely diffrent (as well as all the other brake kits out there). i know that these are 3 diffrent companies that make these, so thats probably one explination. anyone know another?

Yup you guessed it. All TRD and Rod Millen brake kits are just SupraTT calipers painted and decaled nd a set of ss lines and some high performance pads. Toms kits are the same thing.

yes, trd and toyota are the same company so that's no brainer. rmm they rebadge the whole supra tt brakes and sell them as rmm

and lsportline i believe they rebadge the whole stoptech brakes as theirs.

wow! thats nuts! the crazy part about all that is that there is such a diffrence in the price. the tt can be had for about 500, the rmm about 1000, and the trd about 1200... thats just wrong to be getting hosed like that. oh well.

the TRD brake kit has two versions:

one is the Supra TT version as you guys said.

the 2nd is the Lexus LS430 brake. TRD japan named MONOBLOCK kit. the caliper itself is one pc of aluminum for wt reduction, lighter than the Supra TT caliper, but also cost more as well

Not sure about the cheaper part. As for L-Sportline, they are the StopTech but with the Gen-I calipers. L-Sportline doesn't have a big brake kit anymore. I suppose if they still did, it would be the current Gen-II calipers.

will is right. if you see the trd brakes as 1200, you sure it's the same shape as the TT setup? coz' the monoblock one is a lot more expensive and the shape is different. the monoblock is lighter and stronger

Ah. I thought you meant cheaper than StopTech. Cheaper than L-Sportline definitely.
