You're definitely going to have some rubbing issues with the inner wheel wells and also possibly with the fenders. You'll need to get some fender rolling/shaving done as well as either modifying (recommended) or removing the inner wheel well plastic lining (not recommended) in order to fit the 20s without any rubbing issues. If you can get all of that done, I'd suggest using tires with the thinnest sidewall...245/35/20 for the front and 275 (or 285)/30/20 for the rear (if you're going for the staggered setup)

what tires have the thinnest sidewall? i know the NT555 are pretty thick...

also, other than getting dirty when removing the the wheel well, what else can go wrong besides the obvious? sorry for a dumb question , please, no flaming...

Dunlops SP 9000's have thinner sidewalls than other brands, such as Michelin, which I'd say is more of a beefier tire. Problem with having a thinner sidewall is that you're more prone to damage your wheels when driving over potholes/bumps.

There's no such thing as a dumb question on the forums, so don't worry about getting flamed. Removing the plastic lining in the wheel well could result in rusting of the metal parts that are covered by the lining over time, unless you don't mind the possibility of something like that happening...it's your call.
