Sorry kutscher, no pics. But I have seen 285/35/19 on 19 x 9.5 rims (should be 275/35/19 for the fat rear), and it looks like a donut.

Trust me. Don't listen to the tire guy. He's making a very generalized statement. So a 245 will fit fine for rims 8 - 9.5" wide, and a 275 is fine for rims 9-11" wide? Let's break this statement down: BOTH the 245 and 275 tire is therefore fine on rims 9-9.5" wide? He is an idiot. A 245 tire will look completely stretched on a 9.5" rim, and the lip of the wheel will be exposed. A 275 on a 9" rim will look like a krispy kreme. OF COURSE you can put these tires on these size wheels and they will "fit" (per catalog ), but it will NOT look right.

The stretched tire look is actually very popular in Japan. But for a daily driver in the U.S., it is fairly impractical. Anyone who desires that look understands that they must drive very carefully, as the tire does not protect the edge of the wheel and the effective sidewall height is reduced.

The donut look is unpopular everywhere.

If you would like more input from other members, start a new thread titled: HELP: 275/35/19 on a 19 x 9? Will this look like a donut? You will get a resounding yes.

Thanks,

I was concerned about these statement from the tire guy vs. the CL members.
Since the rims are not correct I should maybe look around for comperable ones that will hold the Fat Setup as I want this cushon for the ride comfort.
Thanks!!
