Default SSR Prof. SP1's

I have been shopping around for a good price on a set of SSR Proffesor SP1's in the hyperblack. The set-up I want to run is a 19x10 in the rear and a 19x9 in the front. I know that the wheel is imported, so that is not a problem. I was told by one company that I talked to that the Hyper Black color is $125 more per wheel. Is this true? I am also being quoted anywhere from $750 per wheels to $900 per wheel. I know that they cost a lot, but I am making sure that noone has a better place to go. Let me know what you all think.

the current list price is
$690+100(for Super blk coating, aka hyper blk) for 19x8.5= $790 each
and $730+100 for 19x10s = $830 each

this is based on SSR japan site

gtfour43, great looking Taco!!!

What sizes, offsets, and faces (super low, normal, mid, hyper) did you end up getting? I'd like to get an idea of what size lip you have based on that data.

What does SSR consider as the lip in their specs? From where the spokes end to the edge of the rim or just the flat portion of the lip, not including the stepped part of the lip?

I'm considering some for my JZA80 but I am limited to a few selections:

Front: 18x9.0 with 34mm lip, +44 offset, hyper face
Rear: 18x10.0 with 59mm lip, +49 offset, normal face

If I can fit it in with cut/rolled rear fenders, I may try 18x10.5 with a 72 mm lip, +43 offset, normal face.

I'm not too sure on what face I got but the boxes say C+43 for the fronts and F+62 for the rears. The tacoma has a weird offset since its a truck. I could only fit a wider rim in the back because there is more room towards the frame so thats where I got my extra inch and a half from. The lips are only about two inches from the face to the outer part of the lips. Lips are same front and rear cause of the offsets. The rims are 18x8.5 and 18x10 btw.

Clearance between the rim and frame.

Thanks for the info and pics.

Going by your numbers and looking at the SSR spec sheet , it looks like you have Super Low disc/face front and rear with 59 mm lips (~2.32 inches).

That would be the amount of lip I could get on the back of my Supra . . . hmm, I wonder if that's enough.
