I see the Supra Turbo wheels have been put on some SC's, but has anyone put the stock 17 (staggered) rims ona GS?

Seems to have some potential advantages,

Tons of them around, will always be available, cheap to replace (I just ruined my second 17 inch on my GS, I am sure it will happen again), staggered 8.5/9.5, fits big brakes, good offsets for GS.

Disadvantages,

Look like Supra wheels on a GS , what else? Only Toyota center caps available for them? Have to run without center caps!

Since I am an old guy trying not to be noticed by cops so I can drive a little faster, I don't see much of a downside unless I am missing something.

If they are gawdawful ugly on, that's bad, but of they just look like they are a mix between the stock 16 and 17, then I amy try it.

Thoughts?

I have seen them on a GS3 and in my opinion they look good.You don't even take in consideration that they are supra wheels.It's a subtle and inexpensive upgrade.Nothing like a staggered factory wheel that can go over big brakes.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.I don't have a pic but if I find one then I will post it for reference.Before You assume how it will look, simply imagine the stock wheels, but just an inch bigger with fatter tires in the back..Especially when it's lowered

I have a set of chrome tt wheels and when I got them chromed at California Chrome, they sent me a set of no logo center caps. You might try and get some of those from them.
