Default is 300 wheel width

I've started my wheel search and have decided that I'm going to go with different offsets for front and rear with a polished lip. I'm not planning on lowering my car so ride hight will be stock. Wheel size will stay at 17". Tire type and wheel type have not been decided apon although I really like the Fiske S5 at the moment (subject to change at the next web site I visit).

Anywho......

My question is this.

I'm going to stay inside the wheel wells but I want as wide as I can go so the polished lip difference between front and rear are pronounced. I would like to get at least a 1" lip in front so the rear to be pronounced it would need to be at least 2".

What wheel size front and rear would accomplish these goals? Or what information am I lacking to get the information I'm after?

Thanks

most people get 1" lip in the front and 2" in the back.

8" in the front and 9" in the back is a very common setup
