Default can u get polished rims chromed

If I had some polished rims that had some curb rash on them would I be able to just get them chromed? would that get rid of the rash? Also, anyone have a clue how much this would cost? The reason I ask is because I'm thinking about buying a set of rims, there polished w/ a chrome lip, except they have some curb rash. Let me know asap Im gettin the urge to spend my $$$

Thanks,
Mike

yes u can.
as for the price it depends on the construction of the wheel. Is it a 3 piece or 1 piece wheel? If it is 3 piece wheel it'll be around $250.

In general, you can get any metal chromed....as long as you will pay for it. A 3-piece wheel may need to be disassembled and then re-assembled...which will cost more. Another thing is that it takes some skill to re-assemble the wheel cuz if NOT done right, the wheel may wobble, etc....I would check with the chrome shop before doing it.....ask what they recommend on chroming multi-piece wheels.
