Default Fitment of Stock IS wheels on a GS??

I was wondering if anybody, has tried or knows if there would be fitment problems of stock IS wheels on a GS.
As far as bolt pattern, I know they are the same, but I am not too sure about the offset and if this even matters. I don't think this is a problem, but would like the forum to either confirm or deny my intuition..
Thanks

Thanks Dave.

Anybody, have any more pictures of a GS with the IS wheels? Also, what type of spacer, and where can this be bought?

There aren't going to be many since most folks opt not to get them because they're too narrow (IMO).

You can search for 'H&R spacer' to find lots of info on where to find them Here's one example older thread

i have seen that setup before, it will work, but the wheels will stick inmore than the stock gs 17s. and my question is why put a narrower wheels on your car

Good Question Romi

The reason I am considering doing this is because I need to put stock wheels back on my GS because I am unfortunately, forfieting the car to my wife, who does not want the 19's that I currently have on there. I wanted polished GS wheels but it seems that everyone that has these do not want to let go, and the only people that want to trade are IS owners whose rims look very similar to the stock GS4's.

As for fitment, I have found, with Dave's help that the rear is set in further then stock GS rims, however I think I will be using the H&R spacers and bigger tires, and hope this is a better looking solution. If it was up to me I would be completely happy with the current 19's!

Thanks for the concern, I appreciate fellow owners constructive criticism rather then bashing.

gotcha, everything makes sense man it's all good. actually the front would be in too. the stock gs wheels are 8 +50 and the is3 wheels are 7 +50. so the front is in as well, but it will still fit nonetheless
