Default 1st Generation GS wheel upgrade

I'm going to be making a 20X8.5 Front and 20X10 Rear wheel upgrade on a 1st Gen GS, and wanted to ask a few questions. First off, the wheels will be on a car sitting on the Eibach pro-kit. What are the chances that I'll have rubbing issues with this setup? Also, What would be the recommended offset? Finally, I'm looking to have that "Wide" look (Especially for the rear) therefore, what tire sizes would you recommend?

Thanks in advance.

Rubbing - it depends on the tire size and offset of the wheels. I'm running 285/30/20 on 20 x 10 in the rear. I encountered slight rubbing but nothing major. Oh by the way I should mention I'm on the Eibach pro's as well. I had my fenders rolled, now no issues with rubbing whatsoever, even wth a full load of passengers in the car....

Here's a pic of my car from the rear...(first gen GS)

Yeah, Seize is the staggered 20 guru with the first Gen! His car is probably a CL 1st Gen Fav!

Thanks for the responses.

I've seen other pics of Seize's car, and I agree... it's one of my favorite 1st gens.

How's the ride on your car feel with that setup? I'm currently running 18X8 all around (on Pirelli P7000s), and I've gotta say my ride still doesn't feel much different than stock.

There wasn't as much ride degradation as I thought there'd be. Other than feeling road imperfections a bit more, ride comfort isn't all that bad.
