PM a member named Lonely Toothbrush, he is running a 20x9.5" Brabus wheel all the way around on his LS400, he can probably tell you what needs to be done. He is running 245/255/35-20 tires I think.

I couldn't imagine what 35% tire would ride like-probably like a 'solid' tire !!

What do you mean by "solid" tire?

The 35 aspect ratio would give a harsher ride, but thats the tradeoff for better handling!!

20x9.5 +44 with 245-35-20 in the front.
20x9.5 +40 with 255-35-20 in the rear.

Thanks for the reply. I have another question... Will i have to shave the fenders ("so it won't rub the tires")? Did you lower your car any? If you did how low did you lower it?

Ps.. Is it possible to get at least a 2" lip all the way around with the offset you listed? What offset should use to have a real deep dish without rubbing.

Thanks Alot!!

My LS is lower 1 1/4 inches with my rear wheelwells trimmed off. The front fits ok.
If you want 2-inch lip in the front, go with 20x8.5 +30~+35 Low-Disk (depends on what kind of wheel u're getting.) Or 20x9 +34~38 Low-Disk.....But u can only run 245-35-20 in the front.
In the back, u can run 20x10 +36~44 Super Low Disk and you'll get about 3~4 inch lip.

Is it the lower the offset, the wider the lip?

The lower the offset, the wheels stick out more therefore you'll get bigger lips. BUT there is an offset/ wheel width limit for every car unless you can do the wide body set up.

Thanks for the help.. So the lowest offset for 20x9 on an LS400 is +34... Can I put plus 34 all the way around without any problems.

Thanks Alot

20x9 +36 will be safer for the front just in case it rubs. But tires also play a very important factor in rubbing issues. Not all 245-35-20 tires are the same. Like Falken curves a little bit, Nitto is straighter. Michelin is fatter.
