Question Noob GS300 Rim Questions....

Coworker just picked up a 98 GS300, and I have finally convinced him the stock 16's just look too small for the car

I did a search and found a lot of info on wheel fitments for the 98+ GS400 but nothing much specific for the GS300.

So I am looking for the bolt pattern (5x114.3??), offset and widths recommended for 17's or 18's (pushing him towards 18's but it will depend on tire prices probably), with stock suspension on a 98 GS300. Do these cars run staggered widths front-rear from the factory or one size at all four corners?

For the area you are talking about, The GS300 is the same as the GS400 and thus why your not finding any additional information.

With that said, the 5x114.3 is the same, offset and widths for 17 and 18 are the same.

From the factory it is the same all four corners no matter 300 or 400, but aftermarket, you can run either easily.

The only major difference between the two was engine size and other cosmetic enhancements.

Default Options

We have many options for this car. A very popular choice is to run a staggered 18 inch set up with 245/40 18 and 275/35 18. There are some good tire options in both performance and all season performance tires in these sizes.
