supra TT wheel compatibility
Sorry for the newbie question.
I've searched here on ClubLexus and found that the Supra TT wheels do fit the Lexus SC without problems. However, I also read up on Intellexual.net and found that spacers are necessary, although steering issues don't arise without them.
My questions are:
1) What are spacers? Is it just some circular plate that goes between the mounting hub (or against the brake rotor) and wheel?
2) Do I need to get spacers to get my Supra TT wheels to work? Would it be OK without them? How bad would they look without (as it was mentioned in the FAQ that it would look one inch tucked in)? What do most SC owners with Supra TT wheels do?
Thanks,
-Brian.

Yeah, the Supra TT rims will fit no sweat without spacers, but will look better and fill out the wheel well better with spacers.
H&R makes 15mm spacers that are way nice. You put them over the hub, and they have lug nuts that hold the spacer to the exising lugs, and the spacer has it's own lugs built in for the wheel to attach to. Very sturdy and well-made - I've installed some on an RX-7 before, and they're VERY nice units.

That's the one you want. $96 each.
Again, you don't need them off the bat. I'm going to be doing the same thing - putting TT rims on my SC, and I'll wait and do the spacers later.
