Default help me decide on shoe size

Planning on getting new shoes for my GS400 and I was wondering if someone can direct me in the right direction before I make my purchase....

I am going with a staggered set up.

Fronts will be 19x8.5 and the rears will be 19x9.5.

Should I go:

Front: 235/35/19

Rear: 265/30/19

or

Front: 245/35/19

Rear: 275/30/19.

Offset are as follows:

fronts: 35, 40, 45 MM

rear: 40, 45 MM

Thanks in advance!

-Byron

p.s. will be getting L-Tuned suspension or Tein lowering springs.

to avoid any possible rubbing, i would do

19x8.5 +40 front with 245/35/19 (+35 should work, but it's up to you)
19x9.5 +40 rear with 275/30/19

35s are lower profile than 40s....the profile has nothing to do with "sticking out". Sticking out is reflected by the width of the wheel, the offset, and the tire width (ie 245 or 275) in your case.

Thanks again,

no that's the profile. the higher the number the thicker the tire is. it's an ratio (35% or 40%) of the width of the tire

I believe Byron was talking about the offset

+35 sticks out 5 mm more tha +40. I 'd go with 35 front.
