255/35/20 will it fir on a GS 300?
I know what the proper sizes are for 20s on a GS. however, my question is if 255/35/20 will actually fit on a 2nd Gen Gs (1998+). I am hoping to run them all around. I have 20X8.5 in front and 20X9.5 in rear.
Is it going to throw off my speeometer much? How much?
will i experience any rubbing in the front and can I easily fix it or not?
thanks.
Ted

imho, if you are going with 20s forget about teh speedo, even with the "correct" tires you are running at 6% overspec already. so who cares. 255/35/20 will work, but you have to be very very very very very careful on the offset, etc.... socalsc4 has them on his gs4 and it's very very tight
and btw, to answer your question a while ago, 245/40/20 will just simply NOT work at all coz' in the front the tire will hit a bolt on the suspension (upper control arm).

I put my wheels on this weekend, specs below, and it has rubbed the front fender about 2-3 times over dips.
Also, i'm not sure you want to mount a 9.5" rim on a 255 tire, you may stretch the tire, which leaves it more susceptible to popping, bending wheels, etc etc

Rominl & DGOT20s:
thanks for the info.
The rubbing and offsets issues are only for the front wheels, right?
DGOT20s: So its OK to drive and its not damaging your car in any way, right?
Shoot me your phone # so I can call you and ask questions. Mine is 860-983-3341.
I will also sent SoCALSC4 a pm asking for his offset.
Peace Fellas,
Ted
