of course it's doable. heck that's a GS you see there right? well the front basically they gave up chances for big brakes. if you don't care about big brakes, you can get very decent lip. ask gsintensive or kyle3481, their front lips are huge. and rear, if you get the right wheel, you can have a bit more than 4" lip. that's the case for kyle3481 car i believe.

my front lips are about that deep I believe. But look how agressive that rear offset is on the car you posted. In order for the car to look right IMO it needs to be sitting that low and being that low isnt exactly daily-driveable.I think if that car was ot as low it wouldnt look right. When you lower down that far the camber tends to two in and the wheel and very narrow tires they run start to tuck a bit.In order to run that offset and width you would have have a pretty narrow tire on the rear.Look at JunctionGS' car.At a normal driving height I dont think that offset would look right........just my opinion though.

thats front lip looks about the same as my front also and the rear looks bigger cus its dropped so low but i think its the same as mine and gstrance's..i have 20x8.5 normal disk up front with a +44 offset and 20x10 superlow disk out back with +44 for biggest lip action.. and ya like rom said i have no chance at big brake kits.."G" do u have the same set up?

that is correct...

well, unless that GS had the fender rolled, otherwise that would the 10" rear, with ~3.98" lips

romi, kyle3481 has 88mm lips..because they are dish wheel, the polishing finsih effect make the lips HUGH

too me that lips looks bigger that 20x9 would 20x9 or 20x9.5 be doable but I guess all of you already awnsered that question . i just love that way the rear looks wwith that big A$$ lip and I wish I could get a front lip that is just a little bit smaller but that just me. maybe I'll try it, maybe not .

GSTRANCE- let me start by saying Im love what you have done to your car it looks awsome! what set up do you have and can you or not have a brake upgrade?

again,i think that the fact that car is so slammned it gives the appearence of the whlles and lip looking so huge, but i 'm pretty sure "G" and I have the same lip size as that car just we drive the a lot and can't have it that low....

As Will said, I've got a silver GS with the 20" Silver/polished Gettins. That post he linked to has a bunch of pics of my car on the third page...definately check it out if you are considering this setup. I still haven't made a choice on the body kit, but as it stands right now with just rims I think it looks pretty good. I'm not so sure that chrome Gettins would look right on a silver car...but to each their own. Good luck bro!

Your car is very nice indeed ! It is just me, I just cannot see myself buying any wheel that is not chrome. Like you said to each his own . Btw, do you have any particular bodykit in mind? I was thinking since we both have silver cars I am planning for the first time in my life to get a bodykit and I always worried about clearance and the crappy roads in NY, then I was like screw it, I live once right? . What do you think about this combo?

1) L-sport front
2) Veilside exec sides + rear
3) Ugo roof spoiler

or....
