Question LS430 fitment question

Hello Guys,
Do any of you know if the following application will fit an LS430?
20x10 43offset (Rear) and 20x8.5's 37offset (Front)
Btw, the rims are BR5's. Thanks guys, Mike

The front one should be fine. The rear... might be a close call to rubbing the fender. I'd try asking the experts around here on that.

I was told that the front wheels with the 37 offset would not fit an LS430 due to the large front calipers.
Kind of confused right now. Thanks for the response George

Ouchh !! Yes, I forgot about that. Different rims design may affect fitment. Mine's quite flat so +37 works fine.
You can try asking someone with a fitment / "matching" catalog from the wheel maker (Lowenhart, I suppose?). You can also access it online at http://www.hartwheels.co.jp/cat_all/....htm#lowenhart
but somehow it's not listed. Oh well, just trying to help.

Well, I spoke with Dazz Motorsports and they said that the back rims will fit but, they are unsure if the front ones will fit. They couldn't give me a solid answer. He said,"Maybe they will, maybe they won't."
The problem is, my friend lives a 1,000 miles away from me so, there's no way to test fit the wheels.
Does anyone here have a rock-solid answer as to whether or not the front rims will fit on an LS430?
Here is the fitment: 20x8.5, 37offset. Gewe21 just got some Wald's on his car in a 20x9 37offset for the fronts and they fit fine. Do different rim manufacturers have different offsets? I'm kind of in the blind here guys. Please help.

Methodical,

curious as to whether the wheels fit if you already got them. I'm looking at some Auto Couture Supremes -f20x8.5, 43 offset, r20x9.5 43 offset. I know the front is good but is the rear offset too high?

One of the problems with providing a generic answer for offset is that there are other factors besides offset that determine if a wheel is going to clear a caliper. For example two wheel with the same offset might not fit the same vehicle because of the shape of the spoke or the interior diameter of the wheel.

The wheels are high-disk. Clearing the caliper is one issue, but my concern in this scenario is strictly with offset. You can't mount the wheel obviously if it hits something that prevents it from spinning, but, just because it may not rub anywhere doesn't mean the driveability of the wheel will be ok. I just don't want to get into another situation where the car doesn't feel right because the offset is not within spec. I've been there before and it sucks.

I just removed one set of 20s from my car because after a while the 34 offset on the front wheels drove me nuts. I am curious as to what size offset in a 20in wheel (8.5f and 9.5r) will retain the factory suspension geometry and steering feel, without regard to caliper/fender clearance.

Am I correct to assume that the front will be fine? -- 20x8.5 43 offset high disk 245/35-20
