Default 18 vs 16" wheels-What's the difference?

I have a 2002 LX470 and I was wondering if upgrading my wheels to 18" will make much of a difference. What is the Forum consensus?

I would say no. There would be a negligable difference in ride. Why? Because the LX sidewall would still be very fat, making for the comfy, Lexus ride. It is even more calming that 18s come on the 2003/2004 model LXs. Lexus would not put on a bigger wheel for looks alone.

Of course your LX would look better. Handling, a lil better but I don't think you'll be taking high speed turns in it?

I say do it, a no-brainer.

Default I agree

18 inch on an LX is a slam dunk. No downside at all.
