Default Steve Ballmer now owns the Clippers

It's official ballmer now own the la clippers. What do you guys think good or bad for the clippers?
My personal take is ballmer will screw up this team like he did microsoft.

You never know. It's such a different industry that there's a chance he could do better. A lot of it will depend on his management team too.

My first thought is that after a $2 billion sale, Sterling, even if he actually keeps only half of it, is going to be laughing all the way to the bank.

at his age and ongoing wealth for many years...what exactly does it satisfy with this sale though? it's not as if he couldn't do/buy whatever he wanted to before. he lost something he built, and being as wealthy as he is, the billion he may gain probably doesn't even begin to relinquish the loss of the franchise.

Lost franchise or not, I'm sure a lot of people would be willing to trade places with him right now. I'm not saying that money is the be-all-and-end-all (there are some things it obviously can't buy)....but many people don't even know where their next meal is coming from.
