Didn't expect to see Wade opt out. Props to him for doing what it takes to win

I think the front office persuaded wade to opt out so they can restructure his contract at least be able to get someone in to replace ray allen when he officially retires. Wade wont leave miami (unless someone else offers him the deal of a life time)

Let's see the aftermath of this. Which other stars will join up in Cleavland? Kevin Love "intrigued" in going to Cleavland now. Bosh in Houston looks good.

At least you won't have to worry about the crowds leaving AA arena waking up the baby now

Miami will be getting quieter in the next few days, bandwagoneers have set their destination to OH.

On a related note, housing property value in Cleveland sky rockets..

nah.....IMO he's not a superstar player - kinda like Scottie Pippen - he didn't do well w/o MJ. (did GREAT with him tho)

Wade had no choice but to opt out and restructure...especially if he wanted the team to compete, with or without Lebron. He was being paid like a superstar when he was barely an all-star. I appreciate his efforts but more glad he was willing to help the organization and restructure

Bosh will thrive...he'll be the 1st option most likely, doubt Wade can maintain that on his knees. I expect the 20/8 average from his Raptors' days. Looking forward to see all what Deng can contribute.

the Cavs will be good...Finals good is to be seen. Lebron is an instant title contender addition, and he has the fresh legs the Heat failed to provide this past season and hopefully he can bring Cleveland a ring one day...so long as it isn't at the cost of the Heat losing a series against them

definitely going to miss Lebron though...a GREAT 4-years, which any organization would have gladly wanted. looking forward to this newly reformed Heat squad...middle of the pack in the East, for the least, come playoff time.

Barring injuries, I don't see Bosh, half of wade, and Deng missing the playoffs in the weakened East. So long as they're above .500, they're in the running for a 4-6 seed.

the east has gotten better...it is more wide-spread than just top heavy as it was in previous years. not by much, but the East is looking to be what the West was with up and coming teams like the Wiz, Raptors and Hornets. Atlanta is always in the mix and who knows what Brooklyn will expense when ready.

Cavs will be the front runner, and only the Bulls stand in their way...and all that depends on is DRose really.

the Heat will be a 2nd round surety and lucky to be in the ECF with their squad, but if DRose doesnt last...I expect a Cavs-Heat ECF matchup, and hopefully we can hold off Lebron to make 5th appearance. that would be some EPIC stuff right there!
