Tomas Hertl at only 19 years of age looks to be a potential superstar, of the NHL and his fourth goal was a sweet move.
Their season is not over. They gave the Kings fits Tuesday night and most analysts are pretty high on the Kings this season. They played on the second night of a back to back and in their third straight road game. I know they play their first 10 on the road due to renovations at MSG. If they can hand around the 5-5-0 level or, even better, 5-3-2, I expect they'll be ok.

Don't read too much into one game. Bad games happen.

Like link says, Rangers season isn't over, we're only 3-4 games into the season for teams. Things can change in an instant. Just last season Sharks started 7-0 then precedded to drop 7 in row. A horrific February and decent March and April led to to the playoffs, with a sweep followed by a full series. So anything can happen.

This Hertl kid does have tons of potential. Let's hope he can stay healthy.

Tomas Hertl's move on his 4th goal was really impressive. Confidence and talent.

The Los Angeles Kings are 1-2 and they were lucky to get the win. They've been outplayed for most of all 3 games so far. I would love to see a much better performance against the Sens tonight.

I know it's early, but the Rangers didn't perform well in preseason. Looking confused at times, on the ice. Plus the point system, with the NHL you can't afford too many zero point nights. The conferences/teams are just to competive in order to come back and make the playoffs.

Link, in a way the rangers were fortunate to score the 3rd (fluky) goal that gave them cushion and enabled them to win a close game.

My Kings blew a 3-0 lead last night and managed a 4-3 OT win in spite of themselves. They have lots of work to do.

I saw! At least they pulled it off.

Sharks against Canucks tonight. Iirc they are going for the 12th or 13th win in a row against Vancouver

Saw a highlight, of Torts displeasure during the third goal. I haven't forgotten his reaction, of anger.

Another debacle, of a lose last night to the Ducks. I'm starting to question, if they chose the right head coach for the job?

Well, I questioned the choice of head coach for the Rangers also. Alain Vigneault got nothing beyond regular season accolades out of Vancouver.

Yeah the Ducks on their 3rd straight win.

Anyone catch any other games last night? Other than my beloved Sharks, I have a soft spot for Colorado (teams), lived there for two years. Infact the Avalanche's first season was the first time I ever saw a NHL game as a kid before moving back to Cali. They've been the bottom of the barrel the last few years but they are also off to an impressive 4-0 start with last nights win coming in Boston and blanking the B's.

I don't care for Ducks fans in general, but if they got in to hockey with Brian Hayward as the color guy on TV, I guess I understand. Hayward is an effing whiner. I like some Ducks players, like Selanne, who is a class act and a HOF player, Getzlaf, who my brother has met and is a good dude, Hiller, who my brother has met and is a good dude (but a bit odd...that's my take, but goalies are always a bit different), and Penner, who played a big part in bringing the Stanley Cup to Los Angeles.

No disrespect to Corey Perry. Most Kings fans hate the guy, but I am a fan of his skills on the ice and how he conducts himself off the ice. He is a good man too.
