Stanford went to Autzen and beat Oregon. Then they come down to LA and get upset by USC. Someone please hire Ed Orgeron.

Steve Sarkisian's coaching seat has gone from mildly cool to near-"Fire Lane Kiffin" hot after losing to UCLA.

Arizona State doesn't travel well. it's either the home cooking or something in the water.

Michigan is in all sorts of trouble, and Notre Dame is suffering from NCG hangover.

Georgia has fallen back to SEC mediocrity. And Aaron Murray's Heisman campaign didn't even last until mid-October.

Florida is keeping Georgia company, since the Gators too look all sorts of out-of-whack.

in the BCS race, Ohio State, Baylor, and Florida State all jockeying for the right to play Alabama, along with a few one-loss teams praying to the BCS gods that those four unbeaten no longer stay that way.

Quote:
Jameis for Heisman, anyone? seems like pre-season Heisman hopefuls have all but just about written it off (Manziel, Clowney, Murray, Lee).
this is a bit tougher to decide on this year. still a lot of Manziel chater going on.

Quote:
Speaking of Ohio State, is anyone convinced they can leapfrog Florida State?

I don't think so. Florida st. would have to fall flat against the Gators and the Buckeyes would have to cream Michigan.

Quote:
Or how about an undefeated Baylor, aka Oregon of the Southwest?
if they blow out ranked #10 Ok. St. like they did to Oklahoma, and Texas to boot, then I say let them pass.

Quote:
Or are we so sick of the BCS that we can't wait for next season's post-season play-offs?

I know I'm so ready for riddance of the BCS, wether it's flawed or not, it's time for something new.

wait a sec....you didn't mention Auburn??

I knew I missed a team or two.

they've been relatively under the radar as a one-loss SEC team.

too bad they'll have to play Alabama in two weeks.

though if they can upset Alabama, that'd be a huge turnaround from last season.

< I don't doubt Bama will come out on top, I just hope both teams come out injury free. Gus the Bus seems to be making the right changes for the war eagle program

Baylor just kissed its national championship aspirations goodbye.

Oregon can kiss its Rose Bowl bid goodbye. Heck, it can kiss ANY POSSIBILITY OF A BCS BOWL goodbye.

Johnny Mansiel can kiss his Heisman hopes goodbye.

UCLA can kiss another trip to the Pac-12 championships goodbye.

Now all we need is another undefeated team to drop a game, and we can kiss any possibility of BCS upheaval goodbye.

Yeah I was suprised they were still talking up Manziel for the heisman before the LSU game.

With Auburn being 4th now, the outcome of the iron bowl could shake things up, or have another 1 loss sec team go the championship, even I don't want that again. However the Tigers did get the smack down from LSU, and needed a Miracle to beat Georgia.

in other news: Florida had it's first loss in history to an FCS team. Ouch! Sorry Muschamp, but that hurt your career big time.

To a team that isn't even 0.500 in its own conference. Georgia Southern was 0-3 passing. They beat Florida without 1 yard of passing. Wow!

wow I didn't know that. I just heard the news, which I'm sure a lot of Florida fans probably didn't watch the game either, thinking it was just in the bag probably.

Alabama loses to Auburn...

On a missed field goal that Auburn converted into a touchdown.

Ohio State survives a scare from Michigan.

Florida State just needs to get past a surprisingly improved Duke next week.

But after this week, all bets are off.

The best Iron Bowl in History, not bad for Gus's first year at Auburn.

I think the SEC is out of the picture most likely now. Fl St. and Buckeyes it is.

ugh. UCLA wins. my facebook explodes with UCLA homers trolling my newsfeed.

I'm glad I turned off the TV after the second fumble. give away the ball enough times, and chances are, you'll lose the game.

now comes the bowl game and the coaching announcement. at least there's that to look forward to.

another unbeaten team fall from the ranks.

tomorrow's BCS rankings aka the "who wants to play FSU?" sweepstakes should be interesting.
