Now that's funny. I am so proud to be from the state that now has 15 National Championships. Now it is time to go buy me a new hat and shirt, just represent the Alabama Crimson Tide. I will be looking forward to next season!

We've got AJ back for another year. I see no reason why they can't go all the way again. Can I get an Amen....................or a Roll Tide!!!!!!!!

^ too early to tell, but Alabama should be the prohibitive favorites in the SEC west, with LSU or Texas A&M not too far behind. the SEC east is also very strong, though it'll come down to between Georgia and Florida w/ South Carolina chasing those two.

and assuming Alabama makes it out of SEC play relatively unscathed enough to earn a spot in the BCS national championship game again, there'll be plenty of other contenders lined up. Oregon, Stanford, Ohio State (assuming that they're bowl eligible and can repeat this past season's performance), K-State, Oklahoma, Texas, Florida State... all of these teams have shown flashes of national championship potential and may be primed for a repeat.

can't say Alabama was set up to win this year, but enough did go their way for them to win.

to the victors, goes the spoils. congratulations to the tide nation.

I agree it's too early to tell, but I have a lot of confidence in our senior QB and our sophmore wide receiver Cooper and running back TJ Yeldon. Hopefully we get some good recruits also. I'm sure we will, but you never know until it's over with. Sometimes those awesome recruits don't pan out.

Its time to start thinking of another championship. We lost a few on the offensive line, but also gained some great team members who are willing and able to put up some stats. Our biggest loss, imo, was Barret Jones. He is an outstanding player, who took too long to be drafted. He is super smart and can read any defense and call the play. I cant wait to see Copper and McCarron back on the field again. The A Day game was a blast, even though we saw some minor mistakes. We now have 8 quarterbacks on the roster.... WOW !

My predictions are Alabama and Ohio State or Georgia Bulldogs. With the returning quarterback from Georgia, he has the potential to be very explosive and be a leader when needed. Texas A and M have a great football team too. Johnny Manziel has also great potential. He is a great football player but his off the field judgement calls, not so good. I am not judging him, but I think he needs to pull it together and remember he is representing the school on and off field. Same goes for the two football players at Alabama. With all the returning people on offense and defense for Bama, I think as the year goes by, they play better as a whole and time passes. Watch out Virginia Tech, Bama is coming to play!

It's hard to bet against them with a schedule that only includes 2 ranked teams.

Alabama just looked terrible. The offensive line just looked lost and beat up front. If they don't shape up fast, it will be a downhill slide from here. Even with all the returning starters, the offensive looked plain sickening. Just got 225 yards total tonight. I hope Nick Saban has them ready with a week off for Texas A and M.

As a VT alum, the assumption was that we were going to get hammered by a bigger, more talented team. We knew that our offense was going to be something awful, but never Alabama's. Bama definitely has their work cut out for them to get ready for A&M, but be grateful that your schedule is pretty lax. Otherwise, the road to the National Championship would be pretty rough.
