i'm kinda unsure what will happen when drew returns in about three to five weeks. lamar is a stud in the box score, and gasol is showing how he's rising to PJ's challenge of being more assertive and a stronger force on both ends in drew's absence.
i was re-watching the lakers-celtics gm 7 on FSN on sunday. i remember the lakers stating how they were gonna limit drew to 20 mins (10 per half), similar to what houston is doing with yao to start the season. i expect lamar to get the majority of drew's minutes, especially if he continues this stellar play once bynum returns. we are so deep, and i can't wait till everyone is healthy and showing why we are the defending back to back champions!

Mike Krzyzewski has a commitment from another top recruit: Kobe Bryant(notes).
Bryant told the U.S. basketball coach that he would play in the Olympics in 2012 if the Americans want him there.
The Lakers guard was a guest on Krzyzewski’s SIRIUS XM radio show Tuesday when the Duke coach asked Bryant about London.
“You guys want me there, I am there and I’m ready to defend,” Bryant said. “And then when you guys need me to put some points on the board I’ll do that, too.”
Bryant was a starter on the U.S. team that won the gold medal in 2008 in Beijing. He sat out the world championships this summer after offseason knee surgery.
Very happy about tonight's win, albeit against a Randolph-less Memphis team. Gosh I hope LO continues to play this way. Shannon has improved so much and Blake and Barnes have proven to be huge additions to our team. Can't wait to meet the Celtics and Heat.
