I hadn't followed too much of the happenings with immigration reform and such..until now...

Can anyone verify what Lou Dobbs is saying? This is CNN that is reporting this, not FOX! I can't believe this is Bill and what it has in it. No taxes, EIC, Gang members...please someone tell me this isn't true?

If you're an illegal Mexican alien cutting in line to apply for your background check after jumping the short 200 mile fence after you've been deported and have back taxes that don't have to be paid, which requires a lawyer that will be paid for by tax payers, in order to get the fast track visa as part of your gang initiation and you don't speak English, it's a great deal !!!!

I don't understand this.

If it came out that someone in Congress proposed a bill that "Requires an extra year of high-school for all African-American students because, as a whole, they're not a intelligent as Caucasians"...would the "Don't worry, it'll never pass" attitude be acceptable?

Or would we find out who proposed this piece-of-crap legislation and hang him up by his nuts?

Yes? I'm addressing the people in this thread that are even considering it a possbility. tromly, GSteg, Nguyen, pirate. No sense mentioning how you're going to move out of the country if this passes because it won't.

Reagan gave amnesty in 1986 to a couple million. The other part of the program was to beef up borders and slow down illegal immigration. That didn't happen, it got worse.
