What are the differences between the Ford Expedition, there is the XLT and then Eddie Bauer version? What does the Eddie Bauer package add that the XLT does not have? Is it worth the price difference between the two? Thanks!

E.B.=If it's a 2003 then all this is standard equipment.
Upgraded trim with ascended wheel flares and body trim , turn signals on the mirrors, standard 5.4 liter, memory seats, memory mirrors , memory power adjustable pedals, rear A/C on the roof for the rear passengers, ,trailer tow package, upgraded sound system with sub-woofer and amp, driving lights, outside temp, compass, gasoline mileage info center, climate control, power folding 3rd row seat and power tailgate.
Basically the E.B. comes standard with a complete power package and upgraded trim.
For the E.B. some dealers give you an option for either the moonroof or an entertainment system .
It's about $3,000 more for the E.B.
For the XLT it's all options including the motor. Comes with a 4.6 L.

you can also get an XLT w/ cloth seats if you don't care about having leather. That what I did with my old expedition. Personally, I didn't find it worth the extra cost just to have E.B. logos stitched into my seats
I probably have one one of the fastest stock expeditions in kuwait, its a xlt with no options at all, I mean the front seats are bench seats. The only option I had was the 5.4 engine with a 2 wheel drive setup ( no 4 wheel drive ) this truck is pretty fast, I even killed a 300M from a stop and from a roll ( this is with a 60lbs box in the back )
I have a 2002 XLT and love it. I would not pay the extra for the EB, I actually like the XLT better. You cAn get the XLT with every option that the EB has without the two tone and a few other accents such as the EB emblem stitched in the seats. I have the larger motor, tow pckg, leather, sunroof, entertainment center, etc, etc.. I prefer to not have the two tone personally, and the XLT sits hogher than the EB, to me it has a beefier stance because of that.
You can't get heated seats (now climate controlled seats) on the XLT not even as an option. You can't get the Mach 460 sound system with the XLT. AND probably the biggest thing is that the EB comes with only a tan interior. I absolutely hate that Ford did that. I just ordered my GX with the Ivory interior, so I can't say I completely hate tan, but on the FORD to not even have a choice is bad. At least let me option out my XLT with some of the EB goodies. In case you hadn't noticed I'm not a big fan of the EB trim package.
