They are saying they have footage of after the crash and that they had a least 60 seconds to get out of the car.

This is the vid saying they have footage, I have not seen and footage of this to back up those claims. But if that was true, they must have been unconscious????

Hopefully dead on impact, burning is a terrible, terrible way to go.

EDIT: watching that video, I was glad to hear them mention that his daughter was not present at the event. This is going to be an extremely difficult time for her, and witnessing the accident would have compounded that severely.

it actually makes it much worse that he was a great guy....it would be easier if the guy was an a-hole or something

I saw an interview with some people/friends first on the seen that they were both unconscious and still buckled in, they tried to unbuckle him and get them but the flames kept them back.

CNN has the video - its off in the distance tho, you can see the light pole and tree go down but not the actual car impacting.

Reports say there were no skid marks left by the car. Odd indeed. Loud bang heard by those close by could very well be a tire blowing out which could cause such a crash. Power steering or brake loss are the other possibilities. It's going to take some talent to come to a conclusion with such an aftermath that left barely anything behind.
Some have already posted/mentioned about the Porsche Carrera GT past/skittish history, if early reports indicating mechanical problems turn out to be incorrect. The link below indicated some of the vehicles past mishaps.

Autopsies have determined the official causes of death for Paul Walker and Roger Rodas. Rodas, the driver of the vehicle, died of multiple traumatic injuries; Walker, the passenger, died of the combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries, the Los Angeles county coroner's office said Wednesday.

The deaths were ruled to be accidental. Toxicology results are pending, and could take several weeks.

I'm betting there won't be anything in the toxicology tests. These guys seemed like the type that had it together, not like Lindsey Lohan.

I would say that Paul Walker had more than just a concussion from the way the autopsy was worded. (I read it as he we was fatally wounded from the impact and the fire simply finished him).

The coroner's office told ABC News that two different doctors did autopsies on the two men. They found that Rodas died on impact, with Walker dying "maybe" a few seconds after from the combined effects of the impact and the fire.
