Well, base from my insider and he's one of the higher up at the Honda armory system of defense, development and research of ammunition ballistic program. He stated that the Type-S shield will stop the .50 BMG cal round without any problem compare to your regular Acura/Honda shield(which is the one you got) that can only stop the 7.62x51 Nato. So, my shield is better and faster than your without a doubt. Plus, the shield will have a big " S" like you see on the Superman on the shield itself....

Sorry OP, I'm just mess with Mike to lighten it up a little....

Here's a coupon code for $10 off. SG667 type that code in when you check out. From Sportsman's Guide.Good till Nov 4. I stop buying ammo awhile back. The $ I used to spend on ammo is halfway to a new black rifle.

Most performance mods need a watch and timed course to demonstrate actual improvement. Few deliver the advertised claims. Many are actually worse than stock. The best performance mods are made to the driver.

dunno if your buttstock and handguards arent tan, it looks weird if its just your mag thats tan. I bought six more 30 round mags, I think I have about 11 total 30 rounders. My 2nd AR uppwe should be shipped monday. I'll take pictures of the collection when its all assembled.

I was at SOG Armory (great local place) during lunchtime and 3-4 people were buying ARs, one guy was buying 3 lower receivers. Jim Pruett's Guns and Ammo is cleaned out rifle stuff besides the really crappy stuff or the really expensive stuff.

Well I've been thinking about this for some time (apparently, since I went back and looked at a thread I started over two years ago, lol) but I ended up going to the gun store today and got a couple of items.

I got a .40 Sig Sauer P226 Equinox

and a S&W .38 642 Airweight Revolver for a concealed carry / pocket gun. This one had the laser sight handle which I wouldn't have bought except this gun was used and got a decent deal on it.

I also dropped off one of my older Mossberg 12 gauge pumps to have the barrel sawed off to 18 1/2". After doing research a lot of folks were recommending against the pistol-style grips on home defense shotguns. I've got a gang of shotguns but all of them are long barrel, so decided just to repurpose one of my older guns that I know works just fine.

most of the stores here are sold out of rifles mainly the "scary" ones like AR15s and AKs.

Mind saying how much $?

I got a few too, and want to have it done to the Remington 870.

You know I didn't ask them, I'll let you know when I pick it up. I've also got an older 870 too that I was considering doing this to, but the same gunsmith actually cut this Mossberg's barrel once before and welded on a sight for me (a friend somehow shot the choke out of it and ruined the attachment threading). I wish I'd thought to do it then instead of keeping it near full length... I haven't even shot it since they did it last time. I think it was $70 last time but I'm not getting the sight welded on this time... so expectation is that it should be cheaper.

I need to do some research on magazines for the P226, doing a bit of googling I see some 20 round clips for it.
