i'm not in the military, but two close friends are in the Army.
the daughter is out stationed in Fairfax, and I believe her rotation for a tour in Iraq has come up--she will be leaving once she fully recovers from her appendectomy that went wrong.
the son was out stationed in Korea, but he might be getting discharged early due to injuries during training.
there are no words amounting to the respect and gratitude I feel for those who fight overseas with our flag. Much thanks to all the servicemen on CL.
