MSgt USAF retired. May 79 - Jan 2000. RI99104/9S200 - never had an AFSC. Specialized in Nuclear Forensics and got to work with some of the AF's best and brightest.

I hope to join the Air Force  after school, two years from now
Would give anything to be a pilot but the chances are slim. Not to mention my not so perfect vision and the no no on laser  Ohh well as long as I work with planes I'm happy

Good on ya! 9S is an AFSC, though, isn't it? I was at AFTAC from 1996-2000 and agree with you, those are some of the most intelligent, talented, and dedicated people I've ever met.

It's still a Reporting Identifier, not an AFSC. We didn't have CDCs, we have JKDCs, we aren't managed out of Randolph, our assignments come from Patrick. There's more but it shouldn't be posted here. From AFMAN36-2108:
