Default How do you keep your headphones untangled?

I have an apple ipod (mini) and dont use it. I have an apple iphone...and use it as a phone.

and the thing that deters me from listening to music is that the damn headphones keep getting tangled when i put them in my pocket, or even while im wearing them. it just seems like such a mess

would it be too much to ask for wireless headphones from apple? i mean im planning to buy the iphone bluetooth headset and i hope i can listen to music with it...

anyways i digress. how do you guys deal with the damn cord, or am i just ****

I dont get it, everyone seems to hate Microsoft because they are so huge yet people, especially young adults love Apple and worship the Ipod. How are they different from Microsoft?

Nevermind, I use a Sony MP3 player and don't have a problem with my headphones getting tangled

I wrap mine around my hand then put it in my backpack so it stays wrapped

Also, using that little nub thing on the headphone helps it not tangle

I fold it in half, fold it in half again, then make a little loop.

its a slip with a magnet and i stick it to my overhead cabinet

at the gym:
i use a twist tie and fold them the same way as above. they stay in a pocket in my gym bag when not in use.

Just a heads up for anyone interested... Target has a headphones for sale, brand "SkullCandy", for between $10-15. They are GREAT little headphones, WAY better than the ipod factory headphones. I am picky when it comes to headphones, I have Shure earbuds ($150) and bose tri-port headphones, and the skull candy headphones, and the skull candys are my second favorite, after the Bose. Maybe I got lucky and have the perfect sized ear canal for them, but they are very comfortable too.

Just thought this could be helpful for someone!

But when it comes to how I keep them untangled.. I do what most people do, wrap it around my hand, double over, and they stick it in my pocket... only rarely does it become tangled after that!

I use a small cord wrapper, personally.

Hey, there are plenty of us out there that despise Apple too. But your point is well-recognized...

Personally, I'm wary of anything that you stick in your ears that is emitting microwave frequencies... frying your brain without drugs, basically.
