Mightyputty Infomercial... anybody use this stuff?
I don't ususally buy anything from infomercials, but this one captivates me for some reason.
Anybody else seen it (or better yet used it)? it's for this epoxy-like "mightyputty" that you fold to combine. Looks handy!

Anybody used this stuff? Work as claimed (or your money back, lol)?

That's wicked. I'll have to pick some up when it makes it to stores.
However, I did like how they put the fine print on the screen "not safe for use with potable water pipes" as they're using it to repair a potable water pipe.

Thanks Cliff et al.
I don't know what I want to use it for either, but I might have to break something to try it out

It might. Unsure if it contains anything that breaks down oil though. It may just lift the stain and if it isn't wiped up immediately I think it may just resoak into the driveway.

I doubt it. I worked in the Dry cleaning business for nearly a decade and there are only a few water based products that can lift/dissolve oils. My best example is the cup w/ oil and water, no matter how hard you shake it it will not mix. Water and soap dissolve dirt from fabrics by way of friction, which are then carried away. Oil just does not budge no matter how much water and soap you use. With only a few exceptions, only solvents remove oils.
You can however use the old sand on oil spill method. The idea being that the sand sucks the oil from the ground and then the oily sand is thrown away.
