Default Sunglasses?

So, here's the deal... i need new sunglasses. I currently have the Oakley Striaght Jackets with the Emerald Lenses and the green flames down the legs. These new sunglasses are more for business than for pleasure. The Air Force has regulations as to what we can and can't wear while in uniform. Some of the requirements are that they be conservative in color (basically black or silver), they have to be the same color throughout, the lenses must be black and non reflective, and if there is a logo, the logo cant stand out.

I am leaning towards the Oakley Gascans (I'm partial to Oakley for some reason) considering they are the models that I like that are closest to the Straights that I use all the time. So, considering I am partial to Oakley, they are basically all that I know... Does anyone have any recommendations as to what else is out there? One requirement that I have is that they not be "wire" frames. I would rather they be the plastic or paste material. I would also they be black in color with dark lenses (no grey). If anyone knows a good quality sunglass manufacturer, let me know... I need to buy these asap. Try to keep the price around $100-120... I wont be using them all the times, so I don't want to drop too much on them.

Oakley Gascan

Um, nothing is more designer than Oakley. Most other "designer" companies produce very ugly styles.

I wouldn't consider oakley "designer", my idea (im sure your views are different)of designer is prada, versace, gucci, dolce.. I presonally find oakley designs ugly.. But thats my opinion, obviously everyones taste is different.

Yeah, tastes definately differ. I would be so embarrassed to wear prada, versace, gucci, dolce...they are HIDEOUS!

Oakleys are the only brand that matter!

My three Brand recommendations (with model examples):

1) Paul Frank: youthful designs, Japanese anime inspired, functional and clean.

Positive Tension

2) Spy: surfer inspired, most are Oakley looking without being Oakley.

Spy Hourglass

3) Hoven: also surfer inspired, but most are more boxy looking.

Hoven Ritz

I'm an Oakley fanatic and have worn nothing but Oakleys since roughly 1985.

I just bought these 2 weeks ago. Square Wire 2.0 spring hinge

I love my Maui Jims! I even have a friend that works for Oakley for a hook-up, but the Maiu Jims were so much lighter and more comfortable
