No, it's nothing personal at all against you, just against your false and unsubstantiated comments. It annoys me when people make incorrect/unsubstantiated statements as though they were fact.

I suspect you might feel much the same way if somebody who didn't know a single worthwhile thing about cars, walked up to you and said Lexuses were ugly, only driven by boring old men and wannabes, and that they were cheaply made in Indonesia using low-grade steel and unwanted parts from rejected Toyotas. And then he told you his car (insert some trendy-styled econo car here, like the PT Cruiser) cost 1/6th the amount that your 'crap' Lexus does, and is much higher quality and more stylish to boot.

In other words, his feelings on the looks of the car and 'who drives them', you would probably find to be kind of needlessly brash and instigating, even if it is simply his subjective opinion. But when he started spouting off completely incorrect and unsubstantiated "facts" with no idea what he was talking about - that might be where you drew the line?

I know you didn't mean any harm with your initial statement - I only replied to it to show you how almost any trend or style item can be perceived negatively by some people just as easily as it's perceived positively by others. But when you replied to me with simply untrue 'facts' about Oakley quality... that's what got me a little agitated. I'm over it now, though.

Back to your regularly scheduled arguments.

Well I think the Oakleys have a more sportier look. I mainly use it for driving and being outdoors. Otherwise I don't wear glasses at all.

Default Oakley Thump Anyone??

I'm considering buying a pair of the Oakley Thump 2 1-Gig MP3 Sunglasses. I was wondering if anyone on CL had them, and if they did, what they thought of them.

I have an iPod and a pair of Oakley's... but something about this concept intrigues me... especially considering that I will be doing a lot of traveling in the upcoming summer... I figure this might be a little easier than having the wires hanging all over the place. Anyone have any experience with them?

Hahaha...
Too cool for me to put it onto my chubby face. I prefer some better earphones than this one that comes in with an eyeware company.
