On the bicycle forum we'd been talking about the Mumbo's and M-Frame. I remember that lens display. After that I wore the Oakleys while in the machine shop. Guys thought it was crazy to wear $50 glasses when the company supplied $3-4 safety glasses. That didn't take long for me to realize similar.

Mosley Tribes are dope, but these are just a lazy attempt at wayfarers.

Newest acquisition are the Frogskins - Crystal Black with Violet Iridium lenses

I need to ask him to see if there are any 3 tier display stands now that the factory doesn't need or will sell to me. The Gascan's and Probations are phasing out after all
These look great. I really want some Neo-chrome lenses, the unfortunate part is that I'm as blind as a bat. All my raybans are prescription and they lose the polarization that the original lens come with I have a large supply of contacts, but I never wear them. Do you know how much a pair of these go for?

Yesterday made the 36 mile drive to Oakley for some shopping fun. The M2 frame is available but I remained with the older M Frame and Radar. Same lenses for both frames: Polarized Black Irridium, Black Irridium and Ice Irridium. Far to easy to spend $$ there. Will probably do some prescription glasses too. Since I had those out, did a family pic.

The base Frogskins are $110 and the polarized variants will be ~$160.

It was kind of funny, we were just looking around--my father-in-law was building a Custom Fast Jacket kit so he would have some plastic frames he could wear at the pool--and the rep showed me the regular Carbon Blade (black/gray polarized). My impression was that they were really nice and super comfortable, but I also really didn't want to spend that much, so I passed. Naturally, after a few minutes he asks me if I've seen the limited-edition Ferrari Carbon Blade. I tried them on a couple of times, and they were so sweet my wife made me buy them.

I'm not quite sure what's wrong with both of our brains that $340 was "too much", but $400* was "just fine", but it all worked out.

*he actually misquoted the price when showing them to me, they're supposed to be $450 (surprised both of us when it rang up), but he knocked it down to honor what he told me. I suppose when you're ringing up nearly a grand in a single transaction they want to make sure you're happy.
