nice tatts. Here is 1 of mine that I got done around 2 months ago for my mother. I'll take a pic of the other tatt in a little bit, its my lastname on my back.
Well i have your typical barb wire on my right arm going all the way around.. I've been thinking about doing a tat for my mom also.. It will be 3 years next month and i'm about due for a memorial tat..
My first tattoo. Boracay Island. It's a modernized Philippine Sun that I drew with the tribal letter for "P".
Nice ink, but I can care less for it when you put it in the same sentence with Boracay Island
That's like the number one azz-kicking vacation spot perhaps only moon and bora bora can touch. I myself have not been to Boracay but all my filipina mamas/coworkers guarantee me that is the spot to hit.

I'm kidding, did I almost get you riled? I agree 100%. The pieces I have are art work I fell in love with while going to school in Vienna, Austria. I got the first one two years after I came back. I figured if I could still love them two years after then i should be fine. It's been a good three years that I've had them and would'nt change them for anything.
I cannot stand when I see people perusing through books wondering "Hmmm, what shall I get" or in other words what can i have put on me permanently from this book that many others have gotten.
It made my eyebrows go up. Then made me laugh.
I agree. Going through a book looking for a design work that someone else has is lame. Not my thing. Although I can understand looking through it for an idea to take from it. Some people just lack that artistic eye. My wife wants something on her lower back but doesn't know what yet either.
We look at others tattoos and try and pick apart things we life from things we don't and try and combine that into the picture we want to have on our bodies essentially forever.
I have never been the type to put a picture of my kids on my body because to me its more of a "In Memory of" type of thing. Lord forbid something happens to my kids, a tat would be the last thing on my mind.
My wife wants something on her lower back but doesn't know what yet either.
Do whatever you can to dissuade your wife from getting a lower back tattoo.
I myself have 8 (or 4 depending upon how view it. One is "IRISH" in large letters across my back. My daughter says that each letter is a seperate tattoo. But I digress). All have a very specific meaning or have a design/look that I wanted. I put thought into the choice of the piece and to the location. The lower back AKA "Tramp Stamp" has become just that. Here in Jersey it is indicative of the wanna-be hoochies down at the Jersey Shore. These are the bimbos that have no problem playing chicken head with 5 guys in one night. My suggestion is that these tramps get a tattoo of a beer coaster on the lower back. So you know where to place your drink while............well, you get the picture.
The effect now is that any female that gets a tattoo in that spot is unfairly judged to be that type as well.
Lastly, I truly feel that the lower back spot is "faddish" and that your wife may regret the spot later in life. What I try to tell anyone that asks me about getting tattoos is to sit and think REAL HARD! Truly understand that they are FOR LIFE! You really need to be 100% sure that you will be just as happy with the piece at 70 as you are at 25.

She likes it purely from a style issue.
She likes the "curve" in her back (as do I ) So she wants it in the spot.
I'll let her know this newly discovered term of tramp stamp though.
I think its a sexy spot for a girl to have a tat personally.
She really doesn't want one one her arm because she may wear like a business shirt that is short sleeve and it may reveal. At least a lower back tat you can't see in business settings.
Maybe even a Shoulder tat may work? But I think that is almost the same thing as having a Arm one in terms of clothing. Imagine your CPA doing your corporate taxes with a tat showing.
