It's getting colder here in the ATL. I turned on one more machine. It definitely spiked my PPD.

Most performance mods need a watch and timed course to demonstrate actual improvement. Few deliver the advertised claims. Many are actually worse than stock. The best performance mods are made to the driver.
Emotional arguments - They're not just for chicks anymore.

There's actually not a whole lot of data out there yet, as most people who are doing i5/i7 folding are also emulating Linux to use the F@H a2 core.* Based on empirical data - which is always tenuous because of variables like which project, people running stuff while folding, etc. - I think there is about a 10-15% increase clock for clock comparing the i7 to the c2q.
* a2 core gets much better ppd... can get close to 10k on a single CPU - everyone who has 64-bit windows and can run VM SMP, or is running linux to begin with, should be using a2 core.

Nice PPD increase, it even spiked the team's PPD. Speaking of which, I noticed our team isn't generating nearly as many points as in past times - perhaps I should engage in more recruiting work. That and, I've been a little bored lately so maybe it's time to scrap some more spare parts and throw another rig together?

This occur with anyone else yesterday? I had my pc on all day folding, and when I checked my points in the morning compared at night before I shut my system down, it said the same thing, though I didn't check total packets folded. Was this the case with anyone else? Have they just not updated the data yet?

Stats server issues at Stanford. They've fixed it, and it will take a couple of days for everything to work through the system.

Thanks to all still folding - I hope to get more machines back online after some critical failures over the summer.
Congrats to team members who hit new badge thresholds!
