I had that problem on my dads PC a few weeks back.
It eventually corrects itself but IF YOU WANT, you can reinstall the Console and try again. I did it several times till I went deeper in looking for the problem.

If you do search on F@H: Work unit has an invalid address, assigned to 0.0.0.0

Read through that and it SHOULD help.

The conclusion will be just stick it out.
If it was working before and can't connect its a F@H issue and you should be back and running soon.
Took I think 2 days for my dads computer to get crackn again.

From what I also noticed when I did all of this its a CONSOLE issue the GUI version would connect quickly.
I am sure this is something that will be corrected by F@H with a new version of the Console version.

cpone is right, sometimes the Stanford servers are getting hammered.

Turn on the big WU option though so you can get beefier units They are worth more points.

Rank 1991!!!! WOOOOOO

Onwards and Upwards! I'll see if I can get some of the Engineering school on this team; though they probably will want to start their own team. Not many lexus owners there... mainly Hyundais and Hondas

DaveGS4 - I see you have a PS3 at work on it - must be why you're racing up the rankings, lol.

I noticed from the announcement
I hope he has the version 1.1 software update (not the 1.7 firmware update, different update) -- results in about 30% quicker speeds!

Nope. Running gui version here on my windows boxes, and 2 of 3 won't connect (1 is already working on something).

I think I have the latest one since I only started it Thursday night last week... had to download an update to the PS3 OS before it appeared on the menu. So the older one was faster?

First switch to the console bit!

Second, I just LITERALLY drilled a hole into the wall in my office to get to another PC behind that wall that does NOT have a easy location for a Network cable to go through. LOL (I KNOW I KNOW CRAZY.LOL) It was supposed to be a stand a lone for some printing. BUT NOT ANYMORE.. LOL...

Anyway I loaded up the console and it gave me the same error.
It will correct itself.

I don't think those stanford people were ready for this type of response and all these WU are jamming their servers. lol.

No the newer one is.
Its doing proteins for me like 3 hours faster per unit.

It would have prompted you for the update when you opened so most likely you already have the latest version. MUCH better.

Why? What's the benefit? I don't let the GUI draw the pictures, etc. the window is closed, but I like having the control icon in the system tray.

The new v1.1 version on the PS3 is much faster, definitely get it if you don't have it. You will need to restart the PS3 to get it if you have F@H running all the time. I'm watching the PS3 still update while all my PCs have run out of steam and are hanging.

The benefit is more points and faster breakdowns.

Slow down bud - I'm NOT displaying the graphics.

I've just installed this console version on a laptop here as a service to see how it is, but how do I monitor it!? I can just display the log file now and again I guess.

By the way this laptop still can't grab a WU. Same error as above.
