well like within the last 5 years when i was in HS and everyone had pagers and not cell phones we would text message each other using numberics. well when ever i page someone ialways leave a 22 at the end. which is my code i suppose. lol. and the rest is just my name J is first name Mai is last name.

can anyone else read this but me?

What a great threat, this is the only time I will explain this...

I bet everyone thinks my real name is Earl due to my screenname, but it's not...my real name is Carl. "Earl!" is my stage name and is what most of my friends call me. It started years ago in high school and has stuck, probably since Carl is almost the same as Earl. Either way I introduce myself as Earl/Carl about 50/50 and really don't care which one you call me, I like both. The way I see it is that Earl is more informal and Carl is formal.

I could never read pager codes..

One time two of my friends started drawing all the letters on the board in class trying to help me understand it..

I know the letters form shapes..but to me they are not as uniform as the standard alphabet.

I figured my name was pretty simple but jus the other day my friend on aim was like, "what the hell is that suppose to mean." So i guess it's not as easy as i thought ForNgoods = Foreign Goods b/c i'm asian. I actually stole the name from my sis's friends licence plate which was 4NGOODS but had to be changed jus slightly.

I got my screen name when I was in High School. I was the smallest starting defensive player and I also called the defensive signals. One day at practice I was in a particulary fowl mood and I was screamin and given direction like one of the coaches or something. Anyway, one of my freinds said "Look at Hall out here acting like a daddy" and one of the others said "Yea with his short azz, just like a smurf"! Well the next thing you know my boy snaps out "yea like Papa Smurf" and the name has been with me ever since.

Mine was my nickname in school...there were like 5 John/Johnny's on our hockey team...so I got Johnny Mo (first 2 letters of my last name)...Now with the popularity of J. Lo some people have shortened further to J Mo.

As to the pager coding, we used to use the letters on the phone and then just unscramble the letters (there are a few combos that can be 2-3 different words).

Example: 2255-63-28-4663 translates to CALL ME AT HOME, but could also be CALL ME AT GOOD...once you see the context you almost know what the message says...a little easier I think than the numberics.
