If you are looking a close to stock comfort, I would suggest the Tanabe NF210 springs as their spring rate is closest to stock.

After you install the springs there is not much you can do to improve the ride, other than perhaps changing to a tire with a slightly thicker sidewall.

I'm a little disappointed in the ride quality but it's probably due to going from a RWD to an AWD. So if I were to not lower the car, you're saying there's no way to improve ride quality (except the aforementioned sidewall thickness)?
