Default 2007 GS430 Rear Strut

Here goes my stupid question of the day.....Is the 2007 GS430 and GS350 Strut with adaptive control, the same part number?

My passenger rear is leaking bad.

http://www.mylparts.com/parts/2007/L...agramCallOut=9

http://www.mylparts.com/parts/2007/L...omponent=Strut

This site doesn't give the part number, diagram#9 is all it indicates for both GS350 and GS430 models

It appears that majority of the people on here went with coilovers after their OEM went out. It kinda makes financial sense since these oem shocks for our GS430 cost 300 each corner.

I also have a 430 and just order a set of Megan coilover

You could have just used aftermarket (Same as OEM) KYB shocks, and not used the adaptive control

There like $100-150 for the pair

I have a "sport mode" switch for the shocks. I thought it was for an electric stabilizer bar. Does it stiffen the shocks too? Anyways, I would love an excuse to get coilovers !!!

I would love to do coilovers but see the way how my account is set up, I just completed a water pump timing belt service, brake fluid flush and changed out my seized rear calipers, plus im moving across the country in a week, so i had to settle for the OEM strut for a whopping $398. Can't wait to get my GS driving smoothly again

No dice. Unfortunately there is no 2007 GS430 strut Per the online KYB catalog.

That's interesting, I wonder why KYB didn't show any compatible struts for the 4gs

How do you know that? How many 2006's were made?

Also, what aftermarket shocks are available for the GS430? Can't find anything.
