Default Clarity on stock suspension. KYB Ready to order.

My only question, are these shocks used in the front too? Im going the KYB route on my GS 430 and just want confirmation on the front. Thanks in advance!

551108 kyb struts

ibidu1-"The rear is 551108 and that works on both sides. This is for cars without the adjustable shocks, if your shocks are tension adjustable they will fit, you just wont be able to adjust them. "

Lexus parts
Front: 48510(Right shock) 48520(Left shock)
Rear: 48530 (Right shock) 48540(Left shock)

Extra parts
the boots are 48750h n 48760b and the bump stops can be purchased seperatly the number for them via diagram are 48341a n 48341b.

Rear shocks are different then the front shocks. As far as being able replace an adjustable oem into an non-adjustable kyb I cannot say 100% sure it will work. But it is very unlikely that it wouldn't work, you may have to leave the servo's plugged in and off to the side, so you do not get a warning light.

I purchased my rear shocks from http://www.justsuspension.com/ I only used the rear as only the rears were available for my AWD

The rears for my car were the same for both sides. Left or Right both were the same part number. When I pulled both shocks out the KYB oem were identical to the KYB Gas a Just.

The KYB gas a just includes the bump stops, so no need to purchase them.

Also if you google "just suspension coupon code" you can get discounted codes. Mine delivered ended up costing like $100-120 bucks shipped

I was aware that the servos will no longer be used, that's fine. You did you replaced the rears on your AWD GS? I'm good when it comes to rear (RWD)? So what KYB part number do I order for the front?

If its RWD you may have to purchase a set for a 07-up GS350 RWD.

FR: 551106
FL: 551107
Both Rears: 551108

tunedis95, you were godly with that Youtube video of the timing belt maintanence on the 430.... I was too scared and paid (I believe) 900 for the full service, with all fluids changed.

On another topic, any reason why you don't just want to go BCR with OEM height and adjustability for comfort?

Just putting my stock springs on, im good with the KYB shocks, don't really care for the adjustability. Recently purchased a Cherokee Overland with every option, so that's my baby now. Ha ha. Alright, ordering the shocks today. Can't wait for the car to ride normal again. Thanx again for the help, once again, gonna save myself tons of money, Firestone quoted me $2200. Thanx Clublexus members!!!

Ouch! Our members need to stop trusting firestone lol! They're pretty shady for what they are!

That's a big price adjustment! I believe about half as much!

ahh, gotcha

I've had a horrible experience with them...... My fiancé's stepfather brought his car to them, they replaced it with nothing but junk pepboys parts.... and when warranty came around to it (the car fell apart in 6 months) they were beating around the bush with it, trying NOT to fix it.....

New shocks are finally on!!! Geez I miss the stock ride. Don't miss the sloppy turning, but I'm happy. What really makes me feel good, is the fact I spent $350 for all new shocks. Thanx for your help clublexus and ibibu1. No more coil overs ever again.

No if you purchase these your AVS will not mount up and will not work. The shocks itself should mount up fine
