Default Megan LP Coilovers!!!

Special thanks to Chris at Speed N Style for hooking it up today. Tommy @ Music Box did the install and it came out great!!!

I now have about 3/4 inch gap all around..32 levels of damping and I'm at 18 and the car drives great. It feels much more planted compare to 4x4 stock. Just the look I want for this DD. Here are the crappy iphone pics for now...

part #MR-CDK-LG13...retail $999, but contact Chris, he's a sponsor here under the name Team SNS. he's real helpful.

i am not sure if they are AWD applicable...i recall the instruction said RWD...but i can check later.

as far as how low it can go? in the rear i'm pretty close to max height...so i'm pretty sure it can be slammed. the front can go lower as well as my installer originally had everything towards the middle range...it came out negative 1/2 inch so i had him raise it to 3/4 inch positive.

i'm on 245/35/20 & 285/30/20 and the ride is excellent...i like it better than stock actually. i'll try to take better pics this weekend after a carwash.

If you are referring to the dampening adjustment inside the vehicle, the answer is no. When you put a full coilover on your car that will be lost, due to removing our shocks which have the adjusting ability.

Yep, that's what I was referring to...wonder if anyone will create a kit for it or mod the existing system to have that ability. I doubt that it would matter much anyways if that kit existed.

if the coilovers are not significantly lighter than stock shocks, then I'll likely forgo this option.

I've ordered my tanabes and they should be here sometime between the 15th and 18th this month, but now that there is an affordable coilover option, I think I want to try out the Megan's.

Called Megan today and was informed that there was a 800 dollar set as well, the EZ street coilovers. They only have 15 way adjustability, but that should probably be fine for me.

Let us know how you like yours in the days to come. A nice follow up on comfort and performance would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

A follow up would be well appreciated after a few days. Ride and handling impressions as well as noise, if any. Great price and I might be tempted by them.
