Control arm bushing replacement
anyone done this...took mine to the shop today & said my CA bushings need replacing. Lexus said they don't sell just the bushing I have to buy the entire arm & I was told to replace wheel bearings also while doing this, Lexus also says thats assembly only.
My car has just under 65k, any input would be greatly appreciated.

Wheel bearings only need replacing when they're shot - until then, they're working as designed.
You may be stuck with having to buy the arm, unless a 3rd party has OE quality one or the bushes separately.
Spend some (a lot) of time searching to see if there is/are alternatives.
If not, check Sewell for member pricing.

I've found a number of sets on eBay bushings only, upper & lower. Wheel bearing I thought the same, I hear no humming while driving or free spin of the wheel.
I get wholesale pricing at Westside Lexus here in Houston so usually a tad bit less then Sewell. I'll check with both & thanks for the input!!!
Also here's the link to bushings only...
