RS-R Ti200 coilovers for 4GS
#16
I would like to know aswell before making a purchase. I wonder how spring will work with the f sport suspension.

So these are electronically adjustable, and are plug in play with the factory electronics and calibrated the same? If so I'm very impressed but I doubt that is the case. As much track time, money and effort as Lexus spent dialing in the suspension on the new GS and as integrated as all the systems are..????

I assume your concern is switching from Eco - Normal - Sport?
No matter what you do to the suspension those functions stay the same.

So, I am assuming that these shocks has an electrical actuator on top that adjust when switching
for normal to Sport + and back to normal? I am interested if that is the case.

The official lexus information says that when you change modes the suspension changes:
ADAPTIVE VARIABLE SUSPENSION (AVS)
By monitoring the road surface, vehicle speed as well as your driving style, AVS automatically adjusts the shock absorbers' damping force for optimal comfort and stability—helping you to carve through corners with precision. Unlike conventional systems that treat each wheel independently, this system monitors and adjusts the shock settings at all four wheels simultaneously, helping to provide added comfort and additional roll damping.
Aftermarket suspension companies like RSR & TEIN Japan havent responded clearly to me on this question. They imply that nothing happens to the systems already in place.
I'm going to be the Guinea pig for u guys and test it out. The Super i is not out yet. waiting on that. The low down springs are ready for shipment right now though.
I would go springs only as it keeps the shock settings at stock but springs alone won't give you the perfect tuck & gap imo.

I have been talking to RS*R. They said the coilovers for our car is part of the Luxury Best I line. Which they have instock in japan. Here are the specs. Coilovers are good for Daily and light track use
The Springs rates are
9.00kg (503lbs) front
8.30kg (464lbs) rear
Height range
-10 to -60mm (-0.4 to -2.4inch) drop Front
-15 to -60mm (-0.6 to 02.4in) drop Rear
Recommended height
-35 to -40mm (-1.4 to -1.6in) drop Front
-40 to -45mm (-1.6 to -1.8) drop Rear
36 way dampening adjustable
FSport models: Coilover will disable your sport++
I'm also in talks with JIC. They are planing to make coilovers for our car but they need some more R&D. I'm thinking of giving my car for their project.
