when the car is on a lift you can clearly see the axles are at an awkward angle. the spacers just help push the axles back towards the center of the car to help straighten everything out.
Gotcha. I was concerned with the other gentleman that stated he feels more in the back. IN his case, it could be something completely different that is causing the issue.

I believe i read somewhere someone had that issue, replaced their transfer case and the problem was solved. Another issue i thought was possibly the guibo or flex plate. or even the U joint.

I wished mine were more consistent to try to pin point my issue. But it's been doing it prior to lowering. strange...

Roughly 900 each - one side is cheaper than the other, but on average you're looking at 1800ish for the whole job. Or so my dealer has quoted. The unfortunate thing is that you cannot get aftermarket axles that i have been able to find. Maybe a low mileage one at a junkyard may have something to offer, but other than that, i have not been able to locate any other solution for replacement for the axles.....

please keep in mind, i never said this fixes the problem 100%. from the time i had these installed, it drastically decreased the vibration/wobble i had. this has always been the case since the day i had them installed, which you can read my post here or here
they were centered, and i removed them yesterday.
the speed sensors were OK and no scratch @ all.
then i dissconnected the battery. now all lights are gone. i hope it dosnt come again

it could be a weird coincidence that it was your gas cap if it was the VSC light.

well thats certainly not from the spacers. you'll know if you damaged the speed sensors because once you get above 20mph the dash will go crazy lol.

mine was just the Check VSC and Engine light.this happend when i was testing the spacers so i suspected that.
mine dose not vibrate alot so the spacer did not help. i did not feel any improvement. it maight be that my car is low milage so the cub is tight enough not to vibrate alot and the spacer install is not benifitial in this case.IMO

Installed axle spacers today in Toronto as per spec. 40% reduction in acceleration and zero idle shake in drive. Had the spacers machines with 0+/- tolerance and good mechanic installed with a small amount of jb weld to keep in place. Will probably machine next set with smaller inside diameter for tight fit with axle and a beveled inside edge for clearance so don't need to worry about centering them. Total cost $200.
