GS-350 Strut Tower Brace
Hey Everyone
First time poster, just wanted to give some info back to CL. I've ordered a set of BCR Coilovers from RavSpec and they included a GTSpec Strut tower bar for free. Even tho the strut bar was made for an IS250, i tried to install them anyways. They seem to fit fine on my 3GS. Here are some pics.. Enjoy..
BTW.. Once I've collected all my suspension parts. i will be doing a DIY on the BCR Coilovers,Swift assist springs, F-sport sway bars and Megan control arms. here is my list so far. Everything is here except my coilover. I will be posting pics of all my parts soon.
GTspec Strut tower brace
BCR Coilovers
Swift assist springs
F-sport Sway bars
Part# MR-6715- Rear UP control arm
Part# MR-6713 Rear Toe control arm
Part# MR-6712 Rear upper Camber control arm

How is the clearance over the engine cover with the stb? Does anyone make it for the rear. I remember having just the front on my IS was a no no w/o the rear when pushing it, then again different suspension.

Sorry for the late response guys. After installing the STB. I notice that my car do handle better. It seems more responsive and nimble. Definitely worth the investment . I can't wait to get all my suspension parts in and really see how it handles.
I do not Autocross or race. but i do plan on doing some canyon carving. Maybe take a few days off to just cruise down HWY 1. I just wanted to make sure my suspension is setup correctly, so once i get my rim (Vossens 083), i would be able to fully utilize my tires. I've been reading a lot about uneven tire wear. And at $500 a pop for a pair of rear tires, i think its worth the investment to get my rear camber setup correctly.
The strut bar seems to fit fine without hitting the hood or insulation under the hood. no clearance issue here.
I'm getting my Coilover today, will be posting some more pics..

I think the questions is: can you put back the two plastic covers on each side of the engine? without any additional modification?
