Im sad: F-sport sways won't fit

GOOD NEWS! Its confirmed, you CAN install F-Sport Sway bars on a 2006-7 GS430! For all you Socal guys, I went to Corner 3 in Lake Forest, I only paid $85. Much cheaper than the $280 I saw a guy spend on his? I took a picture on my camera phone, but it looks horrible, I have to figure out how to get it off my crappy phone....

I think there is a pretty good improvement in body roll, i noticed after taking off the stock sway bars that its not significantly thicker, looks pretty much the same. There's an improvement of 30-45% in less body roll (feeling wise) when going around turns. I think when I'm behind the wheel taking corners you feel a bit more confident with the handling and overall feel. I feel as though my cornering has a better steering response...but then again that's subjective too...

how about the weight of the bars, are the new bars heavier?

I haven't actually weighed the bars, but they look fairly similar. My old bars looks black and ugly while the new ones were shiny blue...=) The F-Sport sway bars like tad bit thicker so I'm assuming not that big of a difference.

I thought you had a GS430 also. I have the AVS (variable suspension) and I was able to install the sway bars with no problems. I think its unless you have that AAAS but i thought that was on the GS450h.

I think I talked to Darrell at Sewell but I think he doesn't know what he's talking about. He was the one I asked about the sway bars and he said they wouldn't fit on the GS430 but I did it anyway, and they fit fine with no fitment issues. I think the only time you can't install the sway bars is if you have that option GS450h with that AAAS (active something stability control) NOT the AVS.
The only recommendation would be to look at the instructions for the sway bars for installation. The only reason for this is the way your direct your bushings (i think its away from the driver) or something like that. Other than that its a SIMPLE fit, should not take more than 45min - 1 hr.
