sorry i don't know why i posted the same comment, but to me whats the sense of getting springs if your not going to get the struts. in the beginning it may be okay but over some months it will get worse and quick. stock struts aren't designed for dropped applications, so they may blow way earlier than normal. i would get aftermarket struts as soon as possible, and have the sportier ride like you want. or go with the true coilover applications such tein, jic, etc. these are also great and are priced fairly reasonable. even though you may have bought the springs, eat the cost and get the coilovers you won't be disappointed. but keep up the great work guys!

Hope you done your alignment already ,if not yet. 1 month is a good time for the springs to be completely settle down. Even if things seems to drive smoothly and steering wheel is not pulling , it is still off.
LOL that -before pic-, is it real? Haha looks like hydraulics. With that much height difference your toe spec will be way off and this is what will eat your inside tires out. More worst than a bad camber day. Those Pirelli are not cheap!

Lowering always makes the ride look much nicer

I like the ride more after the drop than before. However, before the GS I was driving a G35 and liked the tighter suspension. Before the drop my GS felt a bit too floaty (if that's a word) for me in the turns. After the drop, its much much better in city driving. IMO there's no noticable difference in the interstate ride quality.
I was extremely apprehensive before, but now that it's done I'm really glad I did it. Car still drives smooth as butter and quiet as can be.

Was your camber able to be adjusted to spec with the springs?

Okay, okay, finally got around to some pics. Here's my car after dropping it with the Tanabe NF210's. Also included is a link to how she looked before the drop. The car isn't clean (a wash and wax will have to wait till after the holiday), but IMO she still looks good.

sbrown02 and SGT, did either of you have any wobbling/vibrations with the NF210's?
Also, were you both able to get the alignment within or close to specs?

I have the NF210s on my GS450h, no wobbling or vibrations whatsoever. To my knowledge, only the AWD have wobbling/vibration issues when dropped (but not for RWD GS). Alignment will be close, but will get rear camber tread wear; you will need a rear camber kit to fix this.
