Best Springs For '06 Gs300 Awd ?
Which are the best springs for a moderate drop on a 06 GS300 AWD ? I will probably go with 19" rims and tires, so what would go best with that combo ?

You're limited to a coil spring upgrade only. As far as I know there are no coil over setups for the AWD. I have the Tanabe NF210's and I think they're okay. I don't think anyone else has tried any other coil springs on the AWD. I have 245/35/20 and 285/30/20 tires and it rubs in the front when it bottoms out and when making a full right turn. It only rubs on the plastic lining so that's not bad. When there are heavy guys in the rear it'll rub when it bottoms out in the rear. It rubs on the inner part of the wheel well. It doesn't rub on the fender at all. I would recommend getting custom wheels to ensure the offset is perfect for lowering.
If you run with 245/35/19 tires all around or 285/30/19 in the rear with the Tanabe NF210's I don't think you'll have a problem at all. The reason I have the rubbing is because the rolling diameter is larger than stock, car is lowered and sometimes there's a lot of weight in the vehicle. When I am the only one in the car it doesn't rub that much (maybe less than 5% of the time on a trip) and depending on the road conditions.

Thanks Nardeezy. I am thinking of running 245/19's all the way around with the NF210's. Would that be a good enough drop with those wheels , or will it just look awright ?

Yeah, I have the 225/50/17 Dunlop Runflats. I am going to drop it at first. Then in about a month get the new rims and tires. I am going to go with the 245/35/19 as they match the size of the stocks the best.

If Dunlops spec's are correct then you could possibly alter your spedometer if you go either way. A 245/35/19 tire is spec'd somewhere in the 25.9" range (I think). When I contacted (by email) Dunlop technical to verify if those numbers on the website are correct they said yes.
So, I am not sure what the stock rolling diameter is for an AWD. I am thinking that Dunlop made a mistake and it should be 26.1" for the SP5000 DSST tires but I verified it by contacting them. However, I am not sure how valid the infirmation is from the person who contacted me.

My 20's are wrapped with Dunlop SP9000 tires, spec'd at a 26.8" rolling diameter, which would be closer to the spec of the AWD stock wheel.
